SUGAR FOR MY HONEY
Up here, everything is possible, all day. We have been awarded world records for our patisserie such as the 2008 award for our 1,416.63-meter-long cream cake. But that’s not all: there is also our NussKuss “el paradiso style” nut tart “to go,” which is filled with homemade glacé and cream. The Kämmeribodenbad meringue is “nümenormal,” and our Caramel-Köpfli-Töpfli is the chef’s choice (and the best thing he has ever eaten). We prepare the sabayon tableside, and our freshly prepared tarts, flans and sweet pastries from our patisserie with a storefront make everyone’s hearts beat faster, from big to small.
EL PARADISO CREAM CAKE
On the 21st of December 2008, in a 7.5 hour “endurance test,” we baked the longest cream cake in the world, setting a world record. Again we would like to give a big THANK YOU to the team at the time, who helped with this magnificent cream cake creation. With a length of 1,416.63 meters, it stretched from our cabin to the signal track.
